Kakhk Rural District

Kakhk Rural District (Persian: دهستان كاخك) is in Kakhk District of Gonabad County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Marghesh.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 3,052 in 1,118 households. There were 2,354 inhabitants in 974 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,809 in 1,140 households. The most populous of its 172 villages was Ostad, with 407 people.
