Kadiluk
A kadiluk (Ottoman Turkish: قاضیـلق, kadıluk) was the jurisdiction of a kadi, an Islamic judge under the Ottoman Empire. They typically consisted of a major city and its surrounding villages, although some kadis occupied other positions within the imperial administration.
