Kachin Defense Army
The Kachin Defense Army (Burmese: ကချင်ကာကွယ်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့; abbreviated KDA) was an armed insurgent group that operated in northern Shan State, Myanmar, until its conversion into a border guard force in January 2010.
