KYSR is a Class B FM station, with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 75,000 watts. The transmitter is in the Santa Monica Mountains on Briarcrest Peak in Beverly Hills. KYSR broadcasts using HD Radio technology. Its HD-2 digital subchannel airs the sports radio programming of sister station KLAC 570 AM. KYSR is also heard in the Antelope Valley on Class A repeater station KSRY 103.1 FM Tehachapi.
