It is owned and operated by the Ion Media subsidiary of the E. W. Scripps Company alongside Inglewood-licensed station KILM (channel 64). Through a channel sharing agreement, the two stations transmit using KPXN-TV's spectrum from an antenna atop Mount Wilson.
