Junqan Rural District

Junqan Rural District (Persian: دهستان جونقان) is in Junqan District of Farsan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Rastab.

After the 2006 National Census, Mizdej-e Sofla Rural District and the city of Junqan were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Junqan District, which was divided into two rural districts and the city.

There were 1,225 inhabitants in 346 households at the following census of 2011 At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,750 in 816 households. The most populous of its four villages was Rastab, with 1,582 people.
