José Clemente Maurer

José Clemente Maurer, C.Ss.R. (13 March 190027 June 1990) was a German Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Archbishop of Sucre from 1951 to 1983, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1967.
