John Sarbanes
John Peter Spyros Sarbanes (/ˈsɑːrˌbeɪnz/ SARR-baynz; born May 22, 1962) is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Maryland's 3rd congressional district since 2007. He is a member of the Democratic Party. The district includes Annapolis, the entirety of Howard County, and parts of Anne Arundel and Carroll counties.
