John Jaso
John Edward Jaso (/ˈdʒeɪsoʊ/; born September 19, 1983) is an American former professional baseball first baseman. Jaso mostly served as a designated hitter and catcher throughout his career, but had to stop catching due to concussion issues. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Tampa Bay Rays, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
