John Goucher

John Franklin Goucher (/ˈɡər/ GOW-chər; June 7, 1845 – July 19, 1922) was an American Methodist pastor and missionary and the namesake of Goucher College, formerly the Women's College of Baltimore City. He was one of the college's co-founders along with fellow clergyman John B. Van Meter and served as its second president.
