John Edward Deasy (/ˈdeɪsiː/; born 1961) is an American businessman who served as the superintendent of Stockton Unified School District from June 1, 2018, to June 15, 2020. Prior to that, Deasy served as the superintendent for Los Angeles Unified School District from 2011 to 2014, Prince George's County Public Schools from 2006 to 2008, Santa Monica–Malibu Unified School District from 2001 to 2006, and Coventry Public Schools from 1996 to 2001.
