Jim Moody

James Powers Moody (September 2, 1935  March 22, 2019) was an American economist and Democratic politician. He served five terms as the U.S. representative for Wisconsin's 5th congressional district (19831993). At the time, the 5th congressional district comprised the north half of Milwaukee County, including much of the city of Milwaukee. Earlier in his career, he represented downtown Milwaukee in the Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly.
