Jim Hammond (Idaho politician)
James C. Hammond (born June 18, 1950 in Missoula, Montana) is the current mayor of Coeur d'Alene. Prior to his current office, he served as mayor of Post Falls, Idaho and was a Republican Idaho State Senator from 2006–2012, where he represented the 5th District. He is married to Cynthia Hammond and has three children: Sean, T.J., and Kurt. He was elected as mayor of Coeur d'Alene in November 2021, and he has been portrayed as a moderate Republican.
