Jean-François Marmontel

Jean-François Marmontel (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ fʁɑ̃swa maʁmɔ̃tɛl]; 11 July 1723 – 31 December 1799) was a French historian, writer and a member of the Encyclopédistes movement.
