James L. Connaughton
James Laurence Connaughton (born May 1961) is an American environmental lawyer and the former George W. Bush administration environmental adviser. Connaughton served as chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality and Director of the White House Office of Environmental Policy from 2001 to 2009.
