Jafarbay-ye Jonubi Rural District

Jafarbay-ye Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان جعفربای جنوبی) is in the Central District of Torkaman County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Panj Peykar.

Not to be confused with Jafarbay-ye Gharbi Rural District or Jafarbay-ye Sharqi Rural District.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 18,448 in 3,712 households. There were 6,396 inhabitants in 1,534 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,894 in 1,821 households. The most populous of its eight villages was Chapaqli, with 3,064 people.
