J. D. Scholten
James Dennis Scholten (born March 4, 1980) is an American paralegal, politician and retired professional baseball player from the state of Iowa. He is a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for District 1. Scholten was the Democratic nominee for Iowa's 4th congressional district in the 2018 and 2020 elections.
