Jöns Gerekesson
Jöns Gerekesson (as Archbishop Latinized to Johannes Gerechini, Old Norse/Icelandic form Jón Gerreksson) (ca 1380-1433) was a controversial Archbishop of Uppsala, Sweden 1408–1421, and of Iceland 1426–1433 until he was murdered by being tied to a rock and drowned.
