Itivand-e Shomali Rural District

Itivand-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان ایتیوند شمالی) is in Itivand District of Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Taqiabad-e Kan Kot.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Kakavand District) was 3,126 in 622 households. There were 2,923 inhabitants in 771 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,918 in 833 households. The most populous of its 41 villages was Taqiabad-e Kan Kot, with 382 people.

In March 2022, Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District and Itivand-e Shomali Rural District were separated from the district in the establishment of Itivand District, which was divided into two rural districts.
