Islamgarh
Islamgarh, known previously as Akalgarh (Urdu: اسلام گڑھ ) is a tehsil and Municipal Committee of Mirpur District near Mangla Dam of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on the southern part of the Pir Panjal Range, about 28 Kilometer in North-East of Mirpur. It had a population of 175,651 in 2023.
