Ishq (1997 film)
Ishq (transl. Love) is an Indian 1997 Hindi-language romantic action comedy film directed by Indra Kumar. It stars Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla and Kajol along with Dalip Tahil, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Johnny Lever and Mohan Joshi in supporting roles.

Ishq released on 28 November 1997, and grossed over ₹500 million (US$6.3 million) worldwide, becoming the third-highest grossing film of 1997. It earned Amrapurkar a Best Villain nomination at the 43rd Filmfare Awards. The film was remade in Kannada as Snehana Preethina (2007).
