Independence Day (Finland)

Independence Day of Finland (Finnish: itsenäisyyspäivä; Swedish: självständighetsdagen) is a national public holiday, and a flag flying day, held on 6 December to celebrate Finland's declaration of full independence from the Russian Empire when the Bolsheviks took power in late 1917.
