Idrus Harun

Idrus bin Azizan Harun (Jawi: إدروس بن عزيزان هارون; born 2 February 1955) is a Malaysian lawyer and the former Attorney General of Malaysia from 2020 to 2023.

Not to be confused with Idris Haron.
In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Azizan Harun is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Idrus. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
