On 5 July 2023, Ideal World was placed into administration with Michael Lennon and James Saunders of Kroll Advisory Ltd. being appointed Joint Administrators.
On 23 September 2023, TJC acquired the rights to use the Ideal World brand and on 29 September 2023, it relaunched the channel on Freeview, Sky, Freesat and online. The shows are now broadcast from TJC's West London offices with some presenters and production staff from the former Ideal World Limited.
