Ibrahim Mohammad Jahfar

Dato Laila Utama Haji Ibrahim bin Mohammad Jahfar CBE (/ʔɪbraːˈhiːm/; 17 September 1900 – 19 February 1971) was a nobleman and politician whom became the first Menteri Besar (Chief minister) of Brunei, who served from 29 September 1959 until 1 August 1962.

In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Mohammad Jahfar is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Ibrahim. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
