Howmeh Rural District (Shirvan County)

Howmeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان حومه) is in the Central District of Shirvan County, North Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Amirabad, transferred from Allahabad-e Olya.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,297 in 1,989 households. There were 8,062 inhabitants in 2,285 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,070 in 2,216 households. The most populous of its 31 villages was Chalu, with 1,846 people.
