Hessisch Lichtenau (German pronunciation: [ˈhɛsɪʃ ˈlɪçtənaʊ̯] is a small town in the Werra-Meißner-Kreis in eastern ⓘHesse, Germany. In 2006, the town hosted the 46th Hessentag state festival.
