Hesperis (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Hesperis (Ancient Greek: Ἑσπερίς Hesperís means 'evening') was (according to one account) the daughter of Hesperus, and the mother of the Hesperides by Atlas.
The Roman mythographer Hyginus, in his Fabulae, also mentions an Hesperis among the names of the Horae.
