Herdla Church

Herdla Church (Norwegian: Herdla kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Askøy Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located on the small island of Herdla. It is the church for the Herdla parish which is part of the Vesthordland prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, stone church was built in a long church design in 1863 using plans drawn up by the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church seats about 540 people.
