Henry Johnson (Louisiana politician)

Henry S. Johnson (September 14, 1783 September 4, 1864) was an American attorney and politician who served as the fifth Governor of Louisiana (1824–1828). He also served as a United States representative and as a United States senator. He participated in the Atlantic slave trade.
