Hennadiy Kernes

Hennadiy Adolfovych Kernes (27 June 1959 – 16 December 2020) was a Ukrainian politician who was the 5th mayor of Kharkiv from 24 November 2010 until his death in 17 December 2020. Previously, Kernes served as secretary of the Kharkiv City Council (2002, 2006 – 2010).

In this name that follows Eastern Slavic naming customs, the patronymic is Adolfovych and the family name is Kernes.
