Harry McShane (footballer)
Harold McShane (8 April 1920 – 12 November 2012) was a Scottish football player, who played as a direct and speedy winger. He was the father of actor Ian McShane.

He began his professional career with Blackburn Rovers, and after the Second World War he turned out for Huddersfield Town, Bolton Wanderers, Manchester United, Oldham Athletic, Chorley, Wellington Town, and Droylsden. He scored 20 goals in 207 league games in the Football League, and won the First Division title with Manchester United in 1951–52. He worked at Old Trafford after his retirement, spending a period as the stadium's announcer.
