Gummersbach (German pronunciation: [ˈɡʊmɐsˌbax] ⓘ; Kölsch: Jummersbach) is a town in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, being the district seat of the Oberbergischer Kreis. It is located 50 kilometres (31 mi) east of Cologne.
