Grand coalition (Iran)
The Grand Coalition (Persian: ائتلاف بزرگ) was the political alliance of Islamist groups contesting in the 1980 Iranian legislative election, led by the Islamic Republican Party. Various small fundamentalist groups joined the alliance.
