Gorokhovetsky District
Gorokhovetsky District (Russian: Горохове́цкий райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the sixteen in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,487 square kilometers (574 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Gorokhovets. Population: 20,870 (2021 Census); 22,923 (2010 Census); 25,832 (2002 Census); 30,156 (1989 Census). The population of Gorokhovets accounts for 60.7% of the district's total population.
