Gordon Bell (surgeon)
Sir Francis Gordon Bell KBE, MC, FRCS, FRCSEd, FRACS (13 September 1887 – 28 February 1970) was a New Zealand surgeon who was professor of surgery at the University of Otago at Dunedin. He was a founder member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and was elected its president in 1947. In the 1953 Coronation Honours, Bell was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
