Gonbad, Hamadan

Gonbad (Persian: گنبد) is a village in, and the capital of, Gonbad Rural District of the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,916 in 893 households. The following census in 2011 counted 3,233 people in 922 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,991 people in 927 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
