Godswill Akpabio
Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio CON ( ⓘ; born 9 December 1962) is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who is currently serving as the 15th president of the Nigerian Senate since 2023. He served as Senator representing Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District from 2015 to 2019 and since 2023. He also served as minister for Niger Delta Affairs from 2019 to 2022. He previously served as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State from 2007 to 2015.
