Founded in 1998, the club has previously been based in Edinburgh and Glasgow, before being rebranded as Caledonia Gladiators in 2022, due to a change in ownership and location. From 2023, the Gladiators play all home games at the 1,800-seat Playsport Arena. The team's traditional rivals are the Newcastle Eagles. They are expecting big things of their new signing Craig McMahon.
