Gheorghe Tattarescu

Gheorghe Tattarescu (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈɡe̯orɡe tataˈresku]; October 1818 – October 24, 1894) was a Moldavian, later Romanian painter and a pioneer of neoclassicism in his country's modern painting.
