George Kreiss

George Kreiss (September 9, 1830  May 10, 1907) was an Alsatian American immigrant, businessman, and Democratic politician. He was an important figure in the early development of the city of Appleton, Wisconsin, and was a founder of the city's first fire department. He also represented Appleton and surrounding towns in the Wisconsin State Senate and State Assembly.
