Garuk, Hormozgan
Garuk (Persian: گروك, also Romanized as Garūk and Gorūk; also known as Garū, Garūq, Gerow, Girau, and Guru) is a city in the Central District of Sirik County, Hormozgan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,640 in 640 households, when it was a village in Sirik Rural District of the former Byaban District of Minab County. The following census in 2011 counted 4,140 people in 920 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sirik County. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,137 people in 1,182 households, when the village of Garuk had been elevated to the status of a city.
