Gandhāra (kingdom)
Gandhāra (Sanskrit: गन्धार) was an ancient Indo-Aryan kingdom of northwestern Indian subcontinent whose existence is attested during the Iron Age. The inhabitants of Gandhāra were called the Gāndhārīs.
