Fionnuala Ní Aoláin

Fionnuala Ní Aoláin (Irish pronunciation: [ˈfʲɪn̪ˠuəlˠə n̠ʲiː ˈiːlˠaːnʲ]; born 1967 in Galway) is an Irish academic lawyer specialising in human rights law. She was the Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism for the United Nations Human Rights Council from August 1, 2017 - November 2023.
