Finström

Finström is a municipality of Åland, an autonomous territory of Finland. The municipality has a population of 2,609 (31 December 2023) of which 90.2% speak Swedish and 2.7% Finnish as their first language. The municipality covers an area of 172.50 square kilometres (66.60 sq mi) of which 49.23 km2 (19.01 sq mi) is water. The population density is 21.14 inhabitants per square kilometre (54.8/sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Swedish.

Godby, the largest village and administrative centre of Finström, is the second biggest built-up area in Åland after Mariehamn, inhabited by around 1300 people, or one-thirds of the municipality's population.
