Filip Filipović (politician)

Filip Filipović (Serbian Cyrillic: Филип Филиповић; Čačak, 21 June 1878 – April 1938) was a Serbian mathematician, one of the founders of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia and its first secretary. He spent most of his last ten years in the Soviet Union, where he was executed during the Great Purge.
