Fatima Payman
Fatima Payman (Persian: فاطمه پیمان; born c. 1995) is an Afghan-born Australian politician who has served as senator for Western Australia since 2022. Representing the Labor Party, she became the Australian Parliament's first hijab-wearing Muslim woman after being elected in the 2022 federal election.
