Extreme Music is a music production company owned by Sony Music Publishing.

Extreme music may refer to any of the following music genres, or their subgenres:

• Heavy metal music, a genre of rock music
  • Extreme metal, subgenres of heavy metal associated with harsher styles
• Hardcore punk, and other punk rock genres characterized by speed and aggression
• Avant-garde music, innovative music with unique or original elements
  • Danger music, music that might harm the listener or the performer
• Experimental music, which radically challenges existing musical conventions
  • Noise music, which blurs the distinction between musical and non-musical sound
