Eshtehard
Eshtehard (Persian: اشتهارد; and Tati: Eŝtāhārd), also Romanized as Eŝtehārd, is a city in the Central District of Eshtehard County, Alborz province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. The majority of the people of Eshtehard belong to the Tat and Azerbaijani ethnic group and they speak the Tati language and Azerbaijani.

At the time of the National Census of 2006, the population was 16,988 in 4,813 households, when it was in Eshtehard District of Karaj County, Tehran province.
In August 2010, Karaj County, Nazarabad County, and Savojbolagh County were separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province.
In June 2012, Eshtehard District was separated from Karaj County in the establishment of Eshtehard County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Eshtehard as its capital and only city at the time.
The 2016 census recorded the population at 29,993 inhabitants in 9,357 households.
