Founded as a fertilizer business in 1965, it is one of the largest companies in the country that employs over 2,800 individuals across the Group. The principal activity of Engro is to manage investments in subsidiary companies, associated companies and joint venture, engaged in fertilizers, power generation, telecommunications infrastructure, petrochemicals, mining, food, LNG and chemical storages. Engro operates through five verticals focusing on: Food & Agriculture, Energy & Related Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Telecommunication Infrastructure, and International Trading.
